School Age Student Grant
A fully completed Application must be made to the Trust by 14th February
For years 1 to 13 only.
Caregivers of students at school can apply for a Grant to assist meeting school fees depending on their school level.
Approvals will be advised in March each year.
Summary of Education Grant Policies
- Grants for school-aged students are made to the Education provider on behalf of the student.
- Grant funds are to be allocated to school fees first and then any remaining funds can be used to go towards stationery, chrome books and uniforms.
- Grants will not exceed the cost for the student attending a school or education provider.
- Grants will only be paid once attendance is certified by the education provider. Grant funds will be reconciled by the education provider annually and credit balances refunded to Aotearoa Trust.
- Confirmation of attendance and enrolment is required each year. This is generally a letter from the school acknowledging that the student is enrolled for the year and a brief summary of their attendance for the previous year.
